Just some stuff
April 27, 2009
- I’ve been reading quite a few zombie novels lately and they all start out the same way. A deadly new diseases sparks up and quickly spreads through the entire population. At least now I’ll be about to tell everyone I told you so about this ’swine’ flu.
- Shit, my honeymoon is booked for Mexico.
- G.I. Joe Resolute is a pretty damn good cartoon.
Another theme change

I’ve changed themes yet again. I was finding it was hard to read the gray text on black background of my old theme on certain monitors. Back to black text on white background for easy reading.
Theme change
December 22, 2008
I was getting sick of looking at that old theme on the few occasions that I visited my own blog so I decided to mix it up a bit. NEW THEME. It kind of reminds me the of the NYTimes web site.
The writing of this entry also gives me an excuse to try out MarsEdit.
Update….. I really need to change the default picture that is at the top of the new theme.
Update2….. The new header picture is a portion of a close-up of a rusty fire hydrant that I took a few years ago.
Update3….. I found a more fitting header picture. This photo is of a storm over a volcano in Chile. The photo was found at Boston.com.
Update4….. I found yet another theme that I like much more. Very simple.
Slowly becoming addicted to football (soccer)
September 17, 2008
Yesteday I found myself staring at the gamecast on ESPNSoccernet to get the updates of the Marseille v. Liverpool Champions League group stage match. All this while I should have been working. The auto-refresh feature wasn’t fast enough for me so I was constantly hitting refresh. Of course I left the office before the match was complete so I navigated to the gamecast on my iPhone and was constantly checking updates while driving home from work. I think I may becoming addicted.
Shorts at work? Flipflops? What the……
April 18, 2008
I’ve been lucky to always work for companies that have very lax dress codes. I started a new job this past December and this new company continued the casual dress code policy I’m so accustom to. The weather today in southeastern Pennsylvania is wonderful. Low 80’s, no clouds.
When I got into work this morning I realized just how casual the dress code at my new job is. People wearing shorts, flip-flops. I swear I saw one guy wearing those water shoe thingys. This was completely unexpected.
